Honeycomb Ring (size 10.25-10.5)

If you love honeybees or geometric patterns, this is a fun ring that will be sure to start a conversation.  Every hexagon on this ring was hand sawed and filed and I darkened the ring with liver of sulfur so the design would pop out.  The ring is made with two layers of sterling silver that has been soldered together for an added dimension.  This is a wide band measuring 13.9 mm wide with a thickness of 1.4 mm where the two layers meet. The middle of the ring is measuring between the sizes of 10.25 and 10.5.  Over time it is possible that darkened areas will begin to lighten, so I would suggest removing the ring while washing your hands, but the ring might look cooler as the patina changes.  I tried really hard to hide the outside solder seam in the recessed areas, but it is still slightly visible if you are looking for it (it was really hard to smooth out the seam inside such a small area).  I think the ring is very unique and I hope you love it as much as I do.
