It is amazing how fast time flies. It was five years ago almost to the day that I had my very first table as a vendor at Ridgefield's annual Bird Fest and sold my first creation, a pair of hummingbird earrings. I also donated my first piece which coincidently was a hummingbird necklace. Fast forward five years and this event is now a virtual Bird Fest Vendor Fair due to Covid-19. I am still loving this medium as there is so much to learn, new techniques to try, and the opportunities to create are endless. With all that said, for this year's show I felt I needed to go back and create what has been a favorite piece over the years, the smallest of birds, the wonderful little hummingbird.
